School Board Meeting Nov. 14, 2018 Pt 1

The board would like to recognize and honor the first peoples of the Puget Sound territories by acknowledging that we are on the land of the coastal Salish tribes.

I would like to welcome Mika or Mika Mika Wayland representing Roosevelt High School who is joining the board on the dais this evening.

She will have an opportunity to address the board later in the meeting and you are welcome to ask questions from the dais as any other board member would.

So when we ask for questions concerns and comments feel free.

And I might add that Director Pinkham is stuck in traffic.

There is an accident on Interstate 5 and we hope to see him shortly.
