So we need to see that school get remodeled.

But it's also up to you as voters to vote that we get this levy passed.

Georgetown and your concerns about the new boundary changes and the impact upon you.

I do hear you as far as that in one issue one of the community members brought up if you move our children there yes you'll provide the transportation to get them there but it's going to be hard for me as a community member to get there.

So those are issues we look at as well.

Director Geary did note yes wherever you go you'll do your best to build that community but hopefully we're not putting up barriers to that.

Something you'd have to try to work around to get there to try to make equitable access to people that may have limited transportation.

I can't take two buses to get to the new school versus if I could walk to the school or take a single bus ride.

So how those impact the community itself.

And so thank you for bringing those issues up.

Also wanted to note as far as the dual language immersion program.

Irvin for speaking in your language.

I wish I could speak my my language the Nez Perce Onimipotent language but I don't.

It's been lost for me but I am starting to learn it because I feel there's a lot of knowledge just within everyone's language.

All the knowledge isn't in English.

There's knowledge in other languages and values we need to pull from there.

And I think the knowledge of the indigenous language here in the land that we sit on has a lot.

And I want to see how can we help revive those language and learn from the words of the original caretakers of the land that we sit on.

How can we bring Lushootseed and so we can learn these terms and what knowledge is hidden there.

So thank you.

Acknowledging that we have that knowledge core there and we continue that.

I also want to note for Rainier Beach a shared article from the University of Washington about the power of the community there that in a sense saved the school and kept it going.

You know so thank you again for the community being here.

There's also a new article from the University of Washington valuing older buildings architecture professors book argues for reuse rather than the wrecking ball.

So maybe it's something we can share with the operations people look at how can we look at especially when we approach those landmarking issues.

What can we do.

You know.
